FINAL PERFORMANCE EXAMS:  The date for the National 5 Music and Higher practical exams have been set for Monday 4th March and Wednesday 6th of March.  Students are responsible for ensuring they have a full programme of Music with printed copies of their performance pieces and any lyrics for songs to bring into the exam with them.  Timings of exams will be provided and uploaded to TEAMS by Friday 2nd February.  Students are welcome and encouraged to use practice rooms during lunchtimes for rehearsals in preparation for this exam.

The Music courses provide candidates with broad practical experience of performing, creating and understanding music. The courses enable candidates to work independently or in collaboration with others, and can help them to plan and organise, to make decisions and to take responsibility for their own learning.
