This course is an excellent preparation for the National Progression Award in Horticulture which is available for students in S4, S5 or S6.

S3 students can achieve two SQA units: An Introduction to Gardening Skills and Safe Use of Hand Tools. The course is mostly practical with little written work and each student is expected to work in a small group to cultivate an allotment.
